Apple Iphone and Ipad track your movements

It has been discovered today that the Apple Iphone and Ipad devices running IOS 4 are tracking your movements and storing the location data in a database file of the device.  Two researchers Alasdair Allen and Pete Warden have released information that shows the lat and long coordinates as well as time & date are being recorded and stored in a file on the device that can be read and mapped. Skype has been updated – 3G calling and security holes fixed

Skype for Android has just been updated to fix the security holes discovered last week. In addition to the security issues, all users of Skype can now place calls over 3G networks not just WiFi as in the past.  Phones will need to be running Android 2.1 (Android 2.2 for Galaxy S phones) to install the app. If you are running Skype be sure to get updated as soon as possible to plug those security holes.
