It seems the Barnes & Noble Nook is becoming the ‘Little Tablet that could’. We found another project that uses the original Nook Color that has been rooted and is running a full version of Android. In this project the tablet has been mounted in a Jeep Wrangler and even has a docking port so you can remove the unit without having to deal with all the individual plugs. This opens up many possibilities – Navigation, email, engine monitoring, OBD II code reading and much more. Read more

Repairing the Samsung 225BW 22″ monitor

In this repair guide we will be repairing the Samsung SyncMaster 225BW 22″ LCD monitor that has a failing power supply. This model monitor uses the IP-45130A power supply board. Typical symptoms of a power supply failure are no power, flashing power light and no display, slow to show picture or a white screen. Correcting a non-booting Dell Inspiron 1525 or 1526

The Dell Inspiron 1525 and 1526 laptops have a strange design issue. If you have one of these units that will not boot up this may be the solution.
