It is not yet broken, it just takes 5 minutes or so to get lit up. I am reluctant to take it apart while it still works. I am a bit of a coward, I guess. I don't mind fixing something that is broken since the downside is replacing the unit. I am not so brave as to disassemble a working unit.
The increasing length of time that it takes for the monitor to light up may increase my bravery unless someone comes up with a parts list first.
Hi waiting till the monitor stops working could cause more damage to other parts of the board and could also damaged the video board . But as my old Dad used to Prevention is better than the cure i have attached a pic to show the worst case that can happen not trying to scare just warn you
Hi unfortunately like a lot of other manufaturers they used more than one revision os power board so putting together a specific would be difficult. You can dowload the service manual in your web browser type in ElektroTanya in the brand box put LG and in model 204WT and a list of 4 will come up download the bottom one (about 4meg) In the manual is a list of parts for the board but without the cap location numbers i am unsure which ones to advise you to get .
Check the picture to be sure your board is the same before you order it. If your board is different please post a picture of your board so we can help you with it. Here is the board that the kit repairs.
