We have had several Toshiba laptops come into our shop lately with BIOS passwords that the owner did not remember and we had to clear them. We are working on a full article for our site but in the mean time here is a picture to help out a user now.
There is a small copper pattern on the motherboard that is the BIOS reset connection. You will find it under the memory socket. Power off the laptop, unplug the power and remove the battery, remove the cover and the memory from the unit and you will see the very small jumper as seen circled in the attached picture. With the unit turned off use a small flat bladed screwdriver to connect the two copper traces show, hold it connecting them for about 20 seconds. Replace the memory and power up the laptop - The BIOS password should be gone and the unit should boot right up.
These pictures are for the Toshiba L455D laptop so the location in the meory compartment may be different for your Toshiba but the just should still be there.
