I have the same monitor and that symptom started a couple of months ago. Now when the monitored is powered on all that appears is a white screen. A quick search on the Net brought me to the Corporate Computer website and a solution that made complete sense. I ordered the capacitor kit ($12) that was listed for the LG L226WTQ-BF but it turns out the capacitors listed and sent with the kit are not an exact match for the ones I removed from the board. after further inspection I see the picture of the power board as shown
http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/lg ... or-repair/ is not an exact match for the one I removed from my monitor but the board shown in this post is identical to mine (as well as the symtoms).
The two smaller capacitors I removed are 680uf 25v (c202 and c206), two of the larger (longer) ones are 1000uf 16v along with a 1000uf 25v. Unfortunatly for me I did pay real close attention to which location the 1000uf 25v was removed from as I assumed the three larger capacitors were the same (c203, c204, c205).
The kit comes with: qty(3) 1000uf 25v capacitors, qty(2) 1000uf 16v capacitors. Is the a kit for the board identified in the picture posted here?

Jack
