HG281D Help

Postby onyxius » Wed Aug 31, 2011 10:55 pm

Ok, so I ordered the capacitors and am looking at the image on the website since I can't find any guide, even though the sticker on my baggy that came with it says to go to the website for the guide.

Anyway my board doesn't look like the one you guys have. I need to verify which capacitors I need to swap out, out of the 10 that I was sent.

I need this fairly fast as this is my main monitor for my computer.

Thanks

i have been looking around at other sites and other people are selling capacitors in the amount of 12 to 14. My board has 14 of them. Did i perhaps get shipped the wrong amount?

Still no guide found either :(

Hello,

Your board is normally used in the I-inc version not the Hanns-g monitor but they are both made by the same company and sometimes they swap boards around. That's one of the bad things with the Hanns-G monitors, you really need to open them and check which board they used in the monitor because they are non standard. The board model number you have is FSP217-4F02 The capacitors you need for your board are as follows:

Qty 2 1000uf 35v
Qty 2 1000uf 25v
Qty 2 680uf 25v
Qty 1 220uf 25v
Qty 1 220uf 35v
Qty 1 100uf 50v
Qty 1 33uf 50v
Qty 1 10uf 50v

We will be glad to swap out your kit.

so you need me to send you back the pack that I have so you can send me the right pack?

Also, what about a guide to which ones I need to replace?

Nothing else needs to be done, We have the correct kit going out to you today. You will be replacing all of the caps on the board except the very large 450v one. I will post your picture with the parts circled.
